Training Program: OSHA 30 Hour Class for Construction
The OSHA Outreach Training Program provides training for workers and employers on the recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of safety and health hazards in the workplace. The program also provides information regarding workers' rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint. This is a voluntary training program that OSHA has created to make workers aware of safety hazards.
How long are the OSHA Outreach classes?
Rent-A-Crane, Inc. is now offering OSHA Outreach training classes to teach your employees about OSHA, as well as hazard recognition and prevention. Workers can attend 30-hour classes delivered by an OSHA-authorized trainer. The 30-hour class is intended for supervisors or workers with some safety responsibility. The 30-hour classes are held over a four day period.
What topics are covered in OSHA Outreach classes?
Through this training, OSHA helps to ensure that workers are more knowledgeable about workplace hazards and their rights, and contribute to our nation's productivity. This class covers such topics as:

- Hand and Power Tools
- Safety and Health Programs
What is a typical class like?
OSHA Outreach classes are based on an 8-hour day with a half hour lunch break. Classes start promptly at 7:00 am, and instruction, hands-on training videos and examples are given throughout the class. All attendees must attend all training sessions and pass a written exam to receive an OSHA 30-Hour card.
What will I receive?
In addition to the valuable skills you receive, successful participants will obtain an OSHA 30-hour card. Applicants will also receive a safety manual, OSHA CFR 1926 Construction Regulation book and a pocket-sized hand signal card.
